In this phase we get to know you and you get to know us. We start out by listening closely to you. We talk as little as possible because we want to get an unbiased view of what you believe is needed and how it should be done. Over time we blend in education which illuminates "possibilities". Towards the end, you may come away thinking "the phone can do that!"
In some cases we may recommend against IVR due to it being impractical, or there being a better alternative. If IVR is a good fit, fine, if not, it's best to determine this early in the process.
Often IVR is used in conjunction with other forms of communication. During assessment each of the communication methods are analyzed for strengths and weaknesses.
